Tonic are currently searching for a Head Chef for a modern, stylish city centre Café. This is an opportunity which you can really make your own. If you have never been a Kitchen Manager before but are stepping up you can expect training to be given.

This role requires an entrepreneurial mindset that could see you grow within your role and the business as a whole as they add sites to the group. Here, you will have the guidance and advice of the business owner, they will also give you some autonomy to run the kitchen as you would like to. You will work alongside the Executive Head Chef to develop new menus (including menus for events and new projects).
Candidates for this role should;
·Have experience at sous chef level
·Have sound financial acumen
·Have an understanding of Health & Safety
·Have a real passion for food and high standards and be able to motivate your team to work at the same level
·Show their excitement about the prospect of running this Café as if it were their own and taking pride in what they achieve
·Show a stable work history where any short stays can be explained due to valid reasons
