Tonic are currently searching for a Reception Manager for an exciting bar and leisure concept in Newcastle city. This venue requires a Reception Manager confident in managing a small team and taking on varied responsibility as this role will be one of a management team of 4 including the General Manager. The Reception Manager will play a part in overseeing a team of 30 staff, with around 6 reception staff who will be your direct reports. The role of Reception Manager requires a computer literate candidate who has worked with bookings in a restaurant or hotel environment. The key skills required will include overseeing a team and maximising walkthrough through inter-departmental communication during busy periods, up-selling effectively to large group bookings and motivating your team to do the same and taking responsibility for cash handling.
