Dan’s hospitality career started at the tender age of 13, cleaning the bar and bottling up, early on a Saturday and Sunday morning in his local pub. He then went on to work as a waiter, part-time whilst still at school and a barman as soon as he turned 18. Dan then decided to hone his skills travelling abroad to Greece and Spain during the summer seasons, working in a variety of hospitality positions. Dan then went on to travel extensively throughout India and Australia before returning home to start his career. His real understanding and professional training in the industry came whilst working for the NEC Group, as Food and Beverage manager at the prestigious Symphony Hall. During this period, he also studied Hospitality Business Management and gained his WSET Level 2 Award, at the Birmingham College of Food.
