Location: Herefordshire Salary: £24,000-26,000 plus tips, pension and meals on duty
Tonic are currently searching for a driven and ambitious Restaurant Manager to help to drive our client’s business, located in rural Herefordshire. The business is independently owned and is backed by strong investment. This business is aiming for accolades so experience working in establishments with accreditation is desirable, however, the most important thing here is a positive, warm and welcoming attitude. Whilst training will be provided, you should have a good level of wine knowledge and a passion to learn more.

As Restaurant Manager, you will understand ‘great service’ and how to motivate your team to deliver the best, each and every day. You will be passionate about all thing’s ‘hospitality’, you will live and breathe it and that passion will be transferred to your team. You will be standards-driven and you will understand ‘the details’, you will be creative and full of energy so that your team are motivated and ready to deliver. You will have a proven track record of being able to use your initiative to surprise and delight your guests whilst at the same time being sensitive to the commercial needs of the business. In addition the public restaurant part of the business, you will likely be involved in other exciting projects such as alfresco dining evenings and exclusive use occasions.

It is essential that you have your own transport, our client’s business is in a remote location, which is not served by public transport.

Restaurant manager’s package includes:

  • £24 – 26k salary

The Restaurant Manager role involves:

  • Day-to-day operations of all FOH aspect of the business
  • Managing service – experience working with a la carte and tasting menu is highly desirable
  • Management of the entire FOH team
  • Training and development of your FOH team
  • Accountability of weekly and monthly stock takes
  • Implementing and ensuring all FOH SOPS are carried out
  • Local marketing & social media
  • Continually improving and maintaining high-quality customer service
