Cosmo is a passionate, driven consultant who combines his industry knowledge with an ability to develop an outstanding rapport with candidates and clients. His zeal for hospitality, and his long-term commitment to the industry, represent the cornerstone of his recruitment services, which he consistently delivers with great energy and professionalism.

Cosmo’s experience in the hospitality industry dates to his teenage years, where he worked at The Electric Cinema, followed by Le Truc. In 2016, not 45 minutes after his final A-level exam, Cosmo began work at Le Bistrot Pierre. He developed quickly in the role, hosting set menu tasting events after just two weeks. His private study on industry topics allowed him to develop an excellent working knowledge of wine and service.

Cosmo’s relationship with TONIC began at Le Bistrot Pierre, where he impressed Managing Director Conrad Brunton with his initiative, enthusiasm and problem-solving skills.  One week later – thanks to Conrad’s help – Cosmo began work at Carters of Moseley, 1* Michelin. He then took a permanent role at The Wilderness, Michelin Recommended. Cosmo was frequently mentioned by name in Trip Advisor reviews for his knowledge of the wine list, attention to detail and enthusiasm.

Cosmo’s passion for wine and his French language skills took him next to Champagne, where he worked on the organic vineyards of Champagne Michele Rocourt, Mesnil Sur Oger, Côte des Blancs.

Cosmo currently manages a range of vacancies across the entire breadth and depth of the hospitality industry, including premium chain and independent restaurants, wet-led venues, hotels and experiential hospitality. Cosmo excels when he has the chance to delve into his passions and interview a Sommelier (in French!)

In his spare time Cosmo loves to cycle, go hiking in Yorkshire and host at home.
