Tonic are assisting our client’s search for a General Manager to join their gastro pub operation in Stafford. This pub has lots of character and charm and is a firm favourite among locals and visitors. The pub offers a selection of guest ales and fresh food daily. You’ll need experience within a pub, managing large teams. As General Manager, you’ll lead the team from the front and build on the company’s excellent reputation.

What we are looking for in the General Manager candidates:

• A proven track record of management experience within a similar quality environment
• You must hold a valid personal licence
• Proactive, flexible and adaptable, with great attention to detail
• Experience with real ale, cellar management, and premium spirits is essential
• Good length of service and loyalty shown to previous employers
• A true passion for hospitality and the customer journey
• Food background would be desirable
