Head Chef – Independent Restaurant – Sutton Coldfield – package up to £60,000 – Financially stable business 

Tonic are exclusively assisting with our client’s search for a head chef for their independently run restaurant located close to Sutton Coldfield. This fresh-food operation is open 7 days a week, and is a smash hit with locals. The successful head chef will be joining a supportive and stable team and will lead the kitchen brigade of this financially stable business. 

What’s in it for the successful Head Chef? 

• Competitive basic salary £45,000 – £55,000 per annum
• Bonus of up to £5000 – based on KPIs and profitability – paid quarterly

What are we looking for in the successful Head Chef? 

• Experience of leading a team (could be at sous level ready to step up) cooking fresh food 
• Someone who is passionate, driven and who leads their team rather than managing them
• A head chef who is hands on and knows the classical skills of butchery, fish preparation, sauce & stock preparation, baking and pastry, and who has a great knowledge of seasonal British ingredients 
• A natural people person who inspires those around them and works with the front of house team to deliver amazing meals to our client’s guests 
• Someone who can manage the due diligence of the kitchen and hit set targets for GP & wage %
