Tonic are recruiting for a Pastry Chef for our client’s michelin starred restaurant business in Birmingham. The food style is modern and the owner wants to push for further accolades. The ideal candidate will have a natural passion and flair for pastry and will have experience of running a busy pastry section to at least two rosette level. 

Desirable qualities in pastry chef applicants at this level will include;

  • 3 or more year’s experience in a professional kitchen or an NVQ or equivalent level pastry qualification
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
  • Drive, ambition and commitment to your career, candidates who see the long-term opportunity in this business will get there the quickest
  • Experience working in a large-volume environment, producing food products in numbers of 100+ per run
  • 2 Rosette / Michelin experience is desirable
