An excellent opportunity for an experienced chef to join an award-winning company in the education sector. In this chef role, you’ll split your time between the main kitchen and their on-site cookery school. The main kitchen feeds both students and staff along with hospitality events, and the cookery school runs from Tuesday through to Saturday. You’ll create and develop a menu cycle allowing the students to learn and develop their skills in the cookery school kitchen. The hours are typically 10:00 am – 6:00 pm Tuesday to Friday and 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on a Saturday!

What’s required to be considered for this role:

  • Enhanced DBS Checks will be carried out for this position
  • 2 years fresh food kitchen experience at Sous Chef level
  • A strong understanding of menu and recipe development
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You’ll need to be comfortable presenting and hosting in front of a group
  • A real team player who leads from the front
