Tonic are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join our client’s Michelin starred kitchen in Birmingham. The ideal Sous Chef will have a natural passion for fresh food cooking and be committed to developing and growing their career. This role will provide you with additional training and development to go to the next level. The successful Sous Chef will be joining one of the best kitchens in the country. Desirable qualities in Sous Chef applicants at this level will include;

  • 3 or more year’s experience in a professional kitchen with AT LEAST TWO ROSETTES at Sous Chef level
  • A team player who is comfortable supporting the senior team and holding the kitchen in their absence
  • A true passion for food, ingredients and current trends
  • Good knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
  • Drive, ambition, and commitment to your career
