Tonic are searching for a Sous Chef to join the support/relief team for one of our clients within the contract catering sector. In this role as Sous Chef, you will be supporting a variety of sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You’ll work with the on-site teams, filling gaps during holiday leave, covering sickness, and carrying out new openings.

Essential qualities for Sous Chef applicants to be considered:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience within contract catering, restaurants, hotels, and/or gastropubs
  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure to help manage an ever-changing diary
  • Good knowledge and passion for ingredients, food trends, flavours, and food design
  • A Full UK Driving License
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
