Tonic are currently recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the support/relief team for one of our clients within the contract catering sector. In this role as Sous Chef, you will be supporting a variety of sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding areas. You’ll work with the teams on site, filling gaps during holiday leave, covering sickness, and carrying out new openings. If you are flexible, driven, and passionate about using fresh ingredients to deliver the best possible meals, then this role could be for you.

Essential qualities for Sous Chef applicants to be considered:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience within contract catering, restaurants, hotels, and/or gastropubs
  • Flexible, adaptable, and calm under pressure to help manage an ever-changing diary
  • A good knowledge and passion for ingredients, food trends, flavours, and food design
  • A Full UK Driving License
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
