Tonic are recruiting a Sous Chef, based at one of our client’s meetings and events venue in central Oxford. You will support the Head Chef in delivering a first-class experience through corporate meetings, fine dining events, canapes, barbecues and street food pop-ups! As Sous Chef you’ll support in all aspects of the kitchen operation and help to create exciting menus, using fresh, local produce!

Essential qualities for Sous Chef applicants to be considered:

  • Experience within fine dining restaurants at a minimum two rosette is essential
  • Comfortable catering for covers of up to 250
  • A team leader, who enjoys motivating and developing others around them
  • Good length of service and loyalty must be shown throughout your CV
  • Passion for emerging trends and new dining concepts
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
