Tonic are recruiting for a Sous Chef to join one of our client’s fresh food, contract catering operations in Oxford. The ideal Sous Chef will have a natural passion for fresh food cooking, be comfortable working as part of the senior team, and being front-facing with the customer. This role will offer a work-life balance, but also provide you with additional training and development to grow your career to Head Chef level.

Desirable qualities in Sous Chef applicants at this level will include;

  • 3 or more year’s experience in a professional kitchen at Sous Chef level
  • NVQ or equivalent level 3 qualification
  • Strong knowledge of Health and Safety and Food Safety legislation
  • Drive, ambition, and commitment to your career
  • A team player who is comfortable leading and training others around you
