Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit an Assistant Manager for an exciting new opening in Welshpool. This is a boutique restaurant with rooms in a characterful border market town, built around a seasonal, ingredient-led menu and a small number of individually designed bedrooms. As Assistant Manager, you will support the General Manager and Head Chef to deliver an exceptional experience for every guest, from first enquiry through to departure. You will lead shifts, deputise for the GM, and help build the team and standards from opening day.

What are we looking for from Assistant Manager candidates?

• Experience in boutique hospitality, quality restaurants/hotels as an Assistant Manager or strong Supervisor
• A real passion for guest experience and creating memorable customer journeys
• Confidence leading shifts and supporting, training and motivating a team
• Able to work hand in hand with the kitchen to make service run smoothly
• Organised, with a strong eye for detail and operational standards
• Ready to step up and take charge in the GM’s absence
