Conrad was fantastic!
I submitted an application that Tonic were advertising on their website. The next day I had a call with Conrad introducing himself and getting an understanding of my professional background and explaining more about role I had applied for, as well as answering any questions I had about how the role aligned with my professional goals and my personal life.
Conrad then decided he would put me forward to his client for a General Manager role if I was happy , which I agreed to.
I got a call the next day to offer me a 1st stage interview.
Fast forward 2 weeks and 3 rounds of interviews I was offered the role.
What stood Conrad apart from all other recruiters (trust me I’ve spoken to many over the last 12 months) was the continuous open communication. Conrad called me every time he had an update from my new employer, every time had hadn’t heard for a day or two to let me know he was chasing and before every interview to wish me good luck as well as a post interview de-brief.
He knew who each person that I would speak to along the way from the Area manager to the Ops Director and knew exactly how to impress them, and how to align that to my past experiences.
Next time I am looking for a role, I will go straight to Conrad as my first point of call before trolling through websites myself.

Jon O’Brien was absolutely phenomenal! From day was he was super communicative and it always felt like he was on my side, after every stage he checked in with me to ensure that there was nothing that I was unsure about. I genuinely couldn’t recommend him and the team at Tonic talent more if I tried!

Conrad was amazing from the very first phone call. I have never experienced such care and professionalism from a recruitment agency before. Any concerns I had were quickly resolved and Conrad was always available for a chat. Conrad followed up after I was recruited to see how I’ve been settling in – nice touch! I cannot recommend Conrad and Tonic enough – they are excellent at what they do and clearly the best in the industry!
