Tonic is searching for a Sous Chef to help oversee the brigade in our client’s fast-paced, fresh-food, independent, neighbourhood-style restaurant & cafe. The company is looking for a Sous Chef who wants to push the standards, drive sales and use their experience to improve all business areas while fully supporting the head chef. 

What are we looking for from the successful Sous Chef?

  • You must have experience in quality, fresh food, fast-paced restaurants, cooking to volume
  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Head Chef is desirable but not essential – you could be a CDP looking to step up 
  • Your CV must demonstrate loyalty to previous employers
  • Drive, ambition and commitment to your career, candidates must see the long-term opportunity working in this business
  • An expert knowledge/passion for ingredients & food trends
