Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a General Manager for their lively late-night venue in Digbeth. This is a high-energy operation built around live music, late finishes and a crowd that comes out for a proper night. As General Manager, you will own the place end to end, the team, the bar, the events calendar, the numbers and the atmosphere, keeping the energy high and the standards higher. Late nights are the job here, this is not a daytime operation, but if you thrive on the buzz of a full room with live music in flow, few venues in Birmingham can match it.

What are we looking for from General Manager candidates?

• Proven General Manager experience in a bar, club or live music venue
• Comfortable running a high-volume, late-night operation, the hours are real
• Commercially sharp, comfortable owning sales, GP and labour
• A hands-on, front-of-house leader who sets the energy on the floor
• A strong people manager who builds and holds a team through late, busy shifts
• Experience with live music, events or entertainment programming a real plus
• Personal licence holder, given the late licence and nature of the venue
