Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Group Operations Manager for their growing Birmingham hospitality group. This is a genuine build role. The group is expanding, systems and ways of working are still being shaped, and the person who takes this on will have a direct hand in how it all comes together. All venues sit within Birmingham, so you will be moving between sites daily without a licence or a long commute. You will own day-to-day operations across every venue, lead and develop the management team, protect the guest experience and deliver the numbers behind it. Expect to be on the floor during service one hour and in a P&L review the next.

  • A good working knowledge of the Birmingham and wider Midlands hospitality scene
  • Strong commercial and financial grip, P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, labour control, margin and stock management
  • Experience opening, mobilising or turning around hospitality venues
  • A track record of lifting guest experience, standards, profitability and team performance
  • Confident people leader who inspires teams while holding clear accountability
  • Solid knowledge of food safety, health and safety, licensing and hospitality compliance
  • Highly organised, practical and visible in your leadership style
  • Flexible across evenings, weekends and key trading periods
