Midlands Hospitality Network is back for our final session of 2026, and it’s one last chance to get together before the festive season takes over. We’re delighted to welcome back Michelle Moreno to lead the conversation, and this time you choose what we talk about.

You decide the topic

We want this session to be shaped by the people in the room. Whether it’s a leadership challenge you’re facing, something your team keeps running into, or a question you’ve never had a straight answer to, we’d love to hear it.

Send Caitlin a message at caitlin.allwood@tonictalent.com, and we’ll build the session around what comes in.

About Michelle Moreno

Michelle has spent 25 years in hospitality as an operator, consultant and director, building and running businesses around the world. Her career takes in some of the biggest names in the industry, including Nobu, Ian Schrager Hotels, China Grill Management, Taj Hotels, Accor, Dominique Ansel and MJMK.

Today she works as a leadership coach and strategic consultant, and has coached more than 1,000 leaders globally. She describes herself as a rare combination of operator, strategist and coach, and her focus is on helping hospitality leaders understand their impact and take ownership of it. She learned what great leadership looks like the hard way, on the floor, and she’s honest about what it costs a business when it’s missing.

She also writes Message MM, a newsletter for hospitality leaders.

About Midlands Hospitality Network

Midlands Hospitality Network brings together operators, hospitality teams and people looking for their next role in the industry. We meet every two months (or so) in Birmingham city centre to share ideas, hear from people doing great work, and get to know each other properly.

It’s free to attend and open to anyone working in hospitality, or looking to work in it. Founded by Tonic Talent in 2018, it has welcomed speakers including Midlands own Lydia Papaphilipopoulos-Snape, Gordon Ker of Blacklock, Kieron Bailey and Be Inclusive Hospitality’s, Lorraine Copes.
