Our client runs a large, buzzing bar and restaurant right in the heart of Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, one of the city’s most characterful and popular areas to eat and drink. It’s a venue that takes its food and drink seriously, pulls a strong crowd, and is led by a management team who know how to run a tight, friendly, high-standard operation. We’re after a confident, hands-on operator who leads from the floor and lifts the team around them. Someone with real bar and restaurant experience who’s comfortable in a busy venue, thrives on a great guest experience, and wants to learn from a strong GM and Deputy GM.

What are we looking for from Assistant Manager candidates?

• Proven bar and restaurant experience at assistant manager level or equivalent
• Hotel operations background highly desirable, especially for reservations and bookings
• Natural leader who builds strong teams
• Excellent customer service mindset
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Ability to manage busy periods and think on your feet
• Reliable, professional and ready to support the leadership team
