Farm shop & Deli Manager – £40,000 – Bassett’s Pole B78 – Daytime Hours – 45 hours/week 

Tonic are assisting our clients search for an experienced manager to oversee their farm shop and deli retail operation. The successful manager will supervise the teams on the retail shop floor, deli, bakery and butchery.

This is a family-run business offering high-quality, locally-sourced produce including fresh fruit and vegetables, meats, dairy, baked goods, and artisan products. Their mission is to support local farmers and deliver exceptional food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Manage the day-to-day running of the farm shop
• Lead, motivate and train a small team of staff
• Maintain excellent customer service and product knowledge
• Oversee stock levels, ordering, merchandising, and displays
• Plan and implement promotions, seasonal events, and product launches
• Ensure health, safety, and food hygiene standards are met
• Monitor sales and manage budgets to hit targets

What are we looking for in the successful retail manager? 

• Previous retail management or supervisory experience (food retail preferred)
