Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Junior Sous Chef to step up into kitchen leadership at their busy daytime operation in Fleet. Working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef, you’ll take charge of sections, help lead and develop the brigade, and deputise for the Sous Chef when needed. This is a genuine bridge role for a strong Chef de Partie ready to take on more, with the trade peaking around Christmas, so you’ll need to lead well when it counts. If you’re after a senior step up that still gives you your evenings back, this is a real one.

What are we looking for from Junior Sous Chef candidates?

• Experience as a senior Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef ready to develop further
• Confident overseeing more than one section and supporting a team
• Emerging leadership skills, comfortable guiding and training others
• Strong standards and a genuinely hands-on approach
• Reliable, organised and calm under pressure
• Food Hygiene Level 2, Level 3 desirable
