Waiter / Waitress | Birmingham | £13.50 per hour + tronc

Tonic are assisting University College Birmingham in their search for Waiters and Waitresses to join the opening team at Beyond, their new restaurant in Birmingham City Centre. Beyond is a commercial restaurant. It is not a training site and you will not be teaching. Through the day the room runs an all-day offering built around excellent coffee, and from 17:00 it becomes evening service with serious food and a proper drinks list. You will work both, which means you learn quick, relaxed daytime service and full evening service in the same job. If you want hospitality to be a career rather than a stopgap, there is funded training here and somewhere to go with it.

What are we looking for from Waiter and Waitress candidates?

• Previous floor or waiting experience in a restaurant, bar or coffee-led site
• Able to hold your own section through a full service
• Good with guests, and able to talk about the food and drink you are serving
• Willing to learn a coffee and a drinks offer as well as the food menu
• Organised, tidy and quick on your feet
• Available across a seven day operation, including evenings and weekends
