Sunday 25 October. Birmingham. 20km.

Walk for Wellbeing is back, and Tonic Talent is hosting the Birmingham leg for the seventh year running.

On Sunday, 25th of October, 100+ walkers will cover 20km through Birmingham’s historic canals and some of the prettiest green spaces the city has to offer. We start and finish at Albert’s Schloss. Every penny raised goes to Hospitality Action.

Why we walk

Hospitality Action is the charity that exists for everyone who works in our industry. Chefs, waiters, housekeepers, bar staff, kitchen porters, managers. When things go wrong, and in hospitality they do, Hospitality Action is who picks up the phone.

They pay for groceries when someone can’t. They cover funeral costs. They fund counselling, addiction recovery, and crisis grants. They run a 24/7 helpline that takes calls from people who’ve got nowhere else to turn.

Since Walk for Wellbeing launched in 2020, it has raised over £500,000 across the UK. That money has gone directly to hospitality workers and their families at the worst moments of their lives.

This industry looks after everybody. This is one of the days we look after our own.
