Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Head Chef for their all-day café, bar and dining concept in Kidderminster town centre. Open Tuesday to Sunday, offering breakfast, brunch and dinner (Friday/Saturday), this is a focused, quality-led operation running pizzas and small plates for anything from 20 to 100 covers. The kitchen is modern and well-equipped, and the right Head Chef will have genuine input into where the food goes next. If you’ve thrived in an independent, characterful setting and you bring energy and craft in equal measure, this one’s worth a conversation.

What are we looking for from Head Chef candidates?

• Solid Head Chef or Sous Chef experience within a fresh food, independent setting
• Comfortable across a brunch and evening menu, pizza and small plates experience a real advantage
• Used to smaller brigades and happy to be hands-on at the pass every service
• Independent-minded, with the energy and personality to match the venue
• Organised and consistent, able to manage food costs and maintain high standards across a variable cover range
• Someone who genuinely cares about the product and the people around them
