Head Chef – Small independent restaurant – Solihull – package up to £50,000 – Full autonomy over menu and all kitchen operations 

Tonic are exclusively assisting with our client’s search for a head chef for their small independent restaurant in Solihull. This restaurant trades 4.5 days a week, is a smash hit with locals and will offer the head chef complete autonomy over the seasonal menu and all BOH operations. 

What’s in it for the successful Head Chef? 

  • Competitive basic salary £35,000 – £40,000

What are we looking for in the successful Head Chef? 

  • Experience of leading a team (could be at sous level) cooking up to 2/3 rosettes 
  • Someone who is passionate, driven and who leads their team rather than managing them
  • A head chef who is hands on and knows the classical skills of butchery, fish preparation, sauce & stock preparation, baking and pastry, and who has a great knowledge of seasonal British ingredients
