Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Head Chef for their busy, multi-outlet venue in Birmingham. This is a site with real scale behind it and cooking done properly. The current team is keen and capable, with development a real focus for this role, so it’s as much about coaching and growing chefs as it is about running a pass. You’ll take on a daytime-led operation with occasional evening work for events, giving you a quality of life that’s genuinely hard to find in a Head Chef role of this size. What are we looking for from Head Chef candidates?

• Proven Head Chef or strong Sous Chef experience, ideally within a high-volume or multi-outlet food operation
• A proper cooking background, comfortable managing fresh preparation from raw ingredients
• A genuine people person who wants to coach and grow a team
• Confident managing food margins and standards in a high-volume kitchen
• Organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable running more than one section or style of service
