Hospitality Standards and Service Coach | Nationwide, Midlands or central base ideal | Up to £50,000 + car or car allowance

What’s in it for the successful Hospitality Standards and Service Coach?

  • Salary up to £50,000
  • Car or car allowance
  • Daytime working hours, away from the late nights of traditional hospitality
  • A brand-new role you get to shape and own from day one
  • Ownership of customer experience across a respected, growing multi-site business
  • A business that genuinely cares about its people and its guests

Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Hospitality Standards and Service Coach, a brand-new role created by a premium, multi-site destination business where the welcome, the service and the dining experience matter every bit as much as the product. This is nationwide and roaming. You won’t run a single venue. You’ll travel between sites across the country, get under the skin of each front-of-house team, and lift the standard of customer service across the board. Part coach, part standard-setter, part fresh pair of eyes, you’ll spend real time on the floor, work alongside site managers to find the gaps, and build the confidence and skills of team members at every level. The teams already work hard. Your job is to help them get even better. And here’s the part most hospitality people rarely get to hear: it’s daytime hours, no late finishes, though the role does involve regular travel and some nights away.

What are we looking for from Hospitality Standards and Service Coach candidates?

  • A strong hospitality background, ideally front of house, where you’ve delivered genuinely high standards of service
  • Experience training or developing large teams, or an L&D background. This is the core of the role, so it matters
  • A natural coach who gets a buzz from bringing people on, not just telling them what to do
  • Credibility on the floor. Teams will trust you because you’ve done the job, not just talked about it
  • The confidence to influence without authority, winning people over rather than managing them
  • Calm, warm and direct, able to have an honest conversation and keep people on side
  • Happy on the road, with regular nationwide travel and overnight stays expected, so a Midlands or central base works best
  • A full UK driving licence
