The operation centres on high-end canapé receptions, conferencing, and premium sit-down dinners, with every menu crafted from the finest ingredients and tailored specifically to each client. Standards are exceptional and the creative brief is genuinely open, this is a kitchen where quality and originality are expected, not aspirational. The business operates with a natural rhythm of busy peaks and quieter periods, and the successful candidate will understand and appreciate that balance rather than finding it unsettling.
What are we looking for from Head Chef candidates?
Current Head Chef, or a Senior Sous or Sous Chef ready to make a confident step up
Background in high-quality hotels, restaurants, gastropubs, or premium catering environments
Multi-Rosette or Michelin-level experience desirable
Comfortable leading a team through bespoke, creative menus at volume
Strong understanding of premium ingredients and modern culinary techniques
Able to manage peaks and quieter periods with equal professionalism
Must be able to commute reliably to Oxford city centre
