Tonic are pleased to partner with our client to recruit a Restaurant General Manager for a standout restaurant in the heart of Birmingham city centre. This is a premium, quality-led operation with a serious reputation for its food and service. It’s high volume, busy day and night, and the standards never slip. As General Manager you’ll take full ownership of the operation, leading and developing a large team, driving service standards and commercial performance, and setting the tone on the floor every single shift. What are we looking for from Restaurant General Manager candidates?

• You must be an experienced Restaurant General Manager from a high-volume, quality-led restaurant background. This one is non-negotiable
• Comfortable leading large teams through busy services without letting standards drop
• A strong commercial head, confident in owning the P&L, labour, GP and the numbers behind a busy site
• A genuine people developer who builds, trains and retains great teams
• A hands-on floor leader who sets the standard during service
