Restaurant General Manager

Restaurant General Manager – Michelin Star Restaurant – Up to £50,000 plus Tronc

We’re looking for an established Restaurant General Manager to join our client’s multi-award-winning restaurant. The ideal candidate will come from a Michelin environment and be committed to creating a memorable guest journey. You will be a hands-on General Manager and enjoy leading the team on the floor to set a first-class example. You will work closely with the Chef Director to implement new service ideas that take this restaurant to the next level.

The Restaurant General Manager role –

• Lead the restaurant operation day to day, setting the standard for service and performance
• Drive financial results through effective labour control, cost management, and stock accuracy
• Analyse performance reports and make informed operational decisions
• Recruit, train, develop, and retain a high-performing Front of House team
• Manage employee relations professionally and work closely with other departments when required
• Ensure excellent guest experience and consistent brand standards
• Maintain full compliance across health & safety, food safety, and internal systems

The successful Restaurant General Manager candidate –

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, General Manager, or Senior Hospitality Manager
• Strong commercial awareness with a track record of managing costs and margins
• Confident people leader with the ability to handle team and guest issues calmly and professionally
• Organised, detail-focused, and comfortable with systems, reports, and admin
• Able to work independently and take full ownership of the business
