Tonic are recruiting for a Head Chef to join one of our client’s fresh food Gastro Pubs near Burton-on-Trent. This Gastro Pub is built on sourcing, preparing and serving local ingredients. The ideal Head Chef candidate will have a natural passion and flair for food, with experience working in busy, fresh food kitchens, as you’ll have autonomy to build and develop the menus.

Essential qualities for Head Chef applicants to be considered:

• Min 3 years experience as Head Chef in professional, fresh food kitchens
• Experience in a rosette kitchen is desirable
• An expert knowledge/passion for ingredients, food trends, flavours, and food design
• A real team leader who enjoys motivating and developing others around them
• Good financial acumen and strong knowledge of H&S
